Alexis Montouris Ciambotti

Alexis Montouris Ciambotti is the Senior Academic Program Coordinator at the Henry A. Kissinger Center for Global Affairs. Prior to joining the Kissinger Center, Alexis was the Employee Program Fellow for the Digital Pandemic Response Policy Practice at Harvard University. Alexis also brings experience conducting research with the Missile Defense Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and the U.S. Naval War College and in crisis simulations, table-top exercises, and war gaming. Alexis’ research has examined international and comparative politics, ranging from ancient Greece to the present, as well as technology, with her most recent work focusing on cross-sector partnerships, artificial intelligence acquisition, cybersecurity and data systems, and international security and governance in outer space.
Alexis holds an MPhil in Politics from Oxford University, where she was a John Thouron Scholar, and a BA in Political Science and Classics from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a 2017–18 Perry World House Student Fellow and an undergraduate fellow of the 2016–17 Penn Program on Democracy, Citizenship, and Constitutionalism (Andrea Mitchell Center). Alexis also undertook undergraduate studies at the University of Cambridge through the Thouron Summer Prize.
