About Us

Pratima Enfield
Executive Director 
Dr. Pratima Enfield leads the Online and Distance Learning Office at Johns Hopkins SAIS. Dr. Enfield has a BA in English from Delhi University, an MA in Literature from Fitchburg State University, and a PhD in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University Bloomington. With more than 15 years in the field of online learning, her academic and professional experience has been centered around personalized learning, online learning and leadership. In her role as the Executive Director, Dr. Enfield is in charge of leading the online program portfolio for the school and building internal capacity in offering traditional face-to-face courses through alternative modalities.

Lisa Brizzo
Associate Director

Lisa has more than 18 years of experience in higher education and she has been at Johns Hopkins University since 2013. Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, Lisa worked as an Instructional Designer at Laureate Education, Inc. In addition, Lisa has worked as a Faculty Adjunct for the Computer and Information Systems department and the Business Administration department at King’s College, where she was also the lead Technical Support Specialist. Lisa has a BS in Computers and Information Systems from King’s College and a MS in Instructional Technology from Bloomsburg University with a focus on integrating interactive technologies into educational teaching environments.

Sandra Chadwell
Instructional Designer

Sandra began her career in Instructional Technology at a community college in Virginia, where she was appointed the full-time Blackboard Administrator and Trainer. She enjoyed helping faculty and students navigate instructional technology and decided to pursue an Instructional Design & Development MEd from George Mason University. She completed the degree in 2012. She began working at Johns Hopkins Advanced Academic Programs in 2015 as in instructional designer where she collaborated with faculty in the design and development of over 75 online courses. She joined Johns Hopkins SAIS ODL in August 2019.

Nathan Kreps
Manager of Academic Technology

Nathan has supported, promoted, and provided training for academic technologies for face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses at Johns Hopkins SAIS since 2007. His portfolio includes Blackboard, video recording and management, course evaluations, academic integrity and other instructional support. In the ten years prior to joining the school he worked at a prestigious independent high school in Maryland overseeing technical and instructional support. Nathan holds a BS from Northwestern University in Television and Film with a focus on educational media for children and an MA from George Washington University in Educational Technology Leadership.
