Student Emergency Fund

COVID-19 SAIS Student Emergency Fund
In response to the unprecedented financial hardships our students are facing, the school has created the COVID-19 Student Emergency Fund (SEF) to support temporary hardships. The Student Emergency Fund is designed to lessen the stress students face and focus on achieving their academic goals.

Support the Student Emergency Fund
The Student Emergency Fund will provide students with immediate access to essential funding for expenses, including but are not limited to: technological resources to increase their participation in virtual learning, necessary household expenses, unexpected travel costs, or loss of income as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Make your online gift today, or contact saisdevelopment@jhu.edu for more information about how to support the School’s COVID-19 efforts.

Student Eligibility
Students enrolled in degree programs at the Washington DC, SAIS Europe, or the Hopkins-Nanjing Center are eligible to apply for Student Emergency Fund support. The Office of Student Affairs administers the application process. Please contact SAISStudentAffairs@jhu.edu for additional questions.
