Jamie Kraut is the Middle East Director in the Office of Terrorist Financing and Financial Crimes at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Previously, she served on detail to the National Security Council in the Counterterrorism Directorate as the Director for Iranian-sponsored terrorist organizations. Before that, Jamie served for five years as a policy advisor in the Office of Terrorist Financing and Financial Crimes covering terrorist financing threats in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Turkey. Prior to joining Treasury, Jamie worked at the NYPD Counterterrorism Bureau in the Terrorism Threat Analysis Group. Previously, Jamie worked as the Research Assistant in the Europe Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) conducting research and coordinating program activities on U.S.-European political, security, and economic relations. Jamie received a B.A. from Tufts University and a M.A. from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
