Nina Tophoff

NSRI Undergraduate Research Assistant

Biography

Nina is a senior at Johns Hopkins University, where she is majoring in international studies and economics, with a minor in history. Her main research interests are in U.S. foreign policy and transatlantic relations, and she hopes to eventually pursue a career in diplomacy.  
 
At Johns Hopkins, Nina is very involved with European Horizons, a student-run think tank focused on European politics and transatlantic relations. She is also the current president of the Alexander Hamilton Society, a non-partisan organization that promotes constructive debate on foreign policy and national security.  
 
In addition to her work as an undergraduate research assistant with the Kissinger Center at Johns Hopkins SAIS, Nina is also currently working as a remote intern with the Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons at the Department of State, where she is focusing on the Caribbean region. Previously, she has interned at the American Institute for Contemporary German Studies and the Baltimore Humane Society.
