Panel Discussion: America and the Future of Great Power Competition
On October 2, 2019, the Kissinger Center hosted a discussion about the future of great power competition at the Homewood campus of the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore featuring former Deputy Secretary of Defense Robert O. Work, Henry A. Kissinger Distinguished Professor Hal Brands, and Richard Fontaine, the CEO of the Center for a New American Security. Their conversation focused principally on the future of war and the United States’ evolving relationships with Russia and China.
