A Conversation on American Exceptionalism

 The Kissinger Center convened a small group of scholars and practitioners to discuss the controversial concept of American exceptionalism. The event aimed to support current writing projects by Robert Zoellick, former President of the World Bank, and Jake Sullivan, former National Security Advisor to the Vice President. Dr. Walter McDougall offered opening remarks drawing on his article "The Unlikely History of American Exceptionalism."
