Carnegie Squares Session with Dr. Tamara Cofman Wittes

Junior Scholars in our Carnegie International Policy Scholars Consortium and Network met to discuss the future of U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East in our first virtual seminar of the semester. Dr. Tamara Cofman Wittes, Senior Fellow at the Center for Middle East Policy at the Brookings Institution and former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, led a discussion on the future of the region's relevance, how to craft policy and the role of think tanks in policymaking.
