Through FSF, we strive to do the following:

Our Accomplishments
EVENTS:
- The Forum is live-streamed on the CSIS website and YouTube, where CSIS has 132,000 subscribers.
- FSF 2018, the “Future of Force”: over 3,400 online views
- FSF 2019, the “Future of Statecraft”: over 2,500 online views
- FSF 2020, “Conflict and Cooperation in the era of Covid-19”: 700 individuals streaming the events live and over 6,000 online views
- Over 200 individuals attend our 2018 and 2019 forums in-person.
- Videos from the 2020 conference have been streamed more than 6,000 times since airing, and over 700 individuals streamed the events live.
MEDIA AND PODCASTS:
The Smart Women, Smart Power Initiative (SWSP) at CSIS hosts a bi-weekly podcast with more than 42,000 subscribers on iTunes. All Future Strategy Forum panels are posted as podcast episodes throughout the year for maximum engagement. The podcast is posted on iTunes, Spotify, Megaphone, TuneIn, and Stitcher. Each episode receives an average of 3,000+ listens.
PUBLICATIONS:
- To broaden our reach, we launched two new initiatives in 2020 to encourage publications on the pressing issues discussed at our forum.
- Janne Nolan Prize, which awards the best essay in international security written by an emerging scholar. We collaborated with Texas National Security Review to feature the winning article in the journal.
- A blog series hosted by the Chatham House features articles by our graduate cohort members on topics derived from the conference. The blog series has been read more than 1,700 times. It is put on in partnership with Bridging the Gap.
