Financial Information and Course Policies

Executive Education courses do not convey academic credit and are not included on a JHU Academic Transcript. The courses are intended for personal and professional skills enrichment. Any certificate earned for the successful completion of our course offerings is intended for proof of completion only.

Program Fees Details about a specific program’s fee and what it covers are available on the course home and registration pages. Course fees and included items (e.g., tuition, meals, course materials) may differ per program, so please review the course details carefully before enrolling.
Payment Terms Payment for a course is required in full at the time of registration. Payment can be made by credit card, and a receipt will be provided to your registered email. For payment issues and technical support, please contact [email protected].
JHU Alumni Enrollment & Promo Code JHU Alumni are eligible for a 50% registration discount  for SAIS executive education courses. If you are a JHU alum, please contact [email protected] prior to enrollment for verification and to receive your unique promo code. NOTE: Non-SAIS alumni may be waitlisted if a course exceeds the registration cap. 
 
Upon receipt, you will return to the course registration page to enter your promo code and complete the registration process. Please do not use your JHU Alumni email to register for courses (this email account will not work with the registration platform). We recommend you register using a non-JHU email such as Gmail or Outlook.

Financial Assistance, Scholarships and Fellowships At this time, JHU SAIS cannot provide any financial assistance or scholarships to support course registration (if you are a SAIS alum, please refer to our promotional offering above). We recommend contacting external organizations to explore funding opportunities.

Course Location, Date and Time Information about the course location, date and time are provided on the course home and registration pages.
Learning Prerequisites  Currently, no learning prerequisites are required for course enrollment.
Technical Requirements Hardware: laptop computer; webcam; microphone and speakers or headset. Software: current web browser; Canvas access (to be provided upon registration); Zoom web conferencing; Microsoft Office or similar; Email; course specific software.
Course Lifecycle After registering for a course, you will receive an email confirming your registration. You will also be given access to a Canvas course site that includes complete course information and materials. You will have access to the Canvas course site only for the course duration.
Participant Withdrawal and Refund Policy In the event a participant can no longer attend a program, a withdrawal request must be emailed to [email protected]. A full refund will be provided if the request is submitted at least 21 days prior to the program start. Withdrawal requests submitted outside of this deadline will not be eligible for a refund and are therefore obligated to pay the full program tuition. 
Course Adjustments and Cancellation Policy Program dates, fees, and faculty may be subject to change. If a course must be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, SAIS Executive Education will refund the full program tuition.

However, SAIS is not liable for travel, accommodation, or any other expenses incurred by the participant. Changes to the program content or schedule will be communicated via email, and alternative program dates will be provided as available.
Attendance Policy Participants must register with the understanding that they will be free from work responsibilities and able to devote their full attention to the program throughout its duration. To receive a Certificate of Completion, participants must attend all class sessions and participate in required group work and events.
