Commencement is a significant milestone for our students, marking the culmination of their studies. We invite faculty members to join us for the SAIS Commencement Ceremony on Wednesday, May 22 to honor the Class of 2024 on stage.
All Faculty are asked to wear their academic regalia to participate. Regalia must be ordered by Friday, March 22. To order your regalia, please see below.
In addition, faculty members are encouraged to participate in the Universitywide Commencement ceremony on Thursday, May 23 (rain date is Friday, May 24) at the Homewood Campus. RSVP will be accepted until Friday, April 19.
SAIS Ceremony FAQ
SAIS Commencement Ceremony will take place Wednesday, May 22 beginning at 11:00am ET at DAR Constitution Hall, 1776 D St NW, Washington, DC 20006.
SAIS will charter a bus to the venue. The bus will leave from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg Center and return following the ceremony.
Metered street parking is available but very limited. Monday through Saturday, two-hour parking is enforced from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM for most meters.
There are parking garages located in the area on New York and Pennsylvania Avenues and 17th and 18th Streets.
If you are planning to attend the ceremony as a guest (sitting in the audience) SAIS Commencement Team and Faculty Affairs will offer pick-up times. More information coming soon.
