Ambassador Nicholas Burns to Speak at JHU SAIS

Nicholas Burns, U.S. permanent representative to the Council of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), will speak at the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Thursday, 04/11 at 1:30 p.m.

His lecture topic will be "The United States and NATO: On the Road to the Prague Summit."

Burns, a SAIS graduate, heads the combined State and Defense departments' U.S. mission to NATO. He also has served as U.S. ambassador to Greece and State Department spokesman.

The event, which is open to the public, will be held in Room 500 of the John Hopkins building located at 1717 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., in Washington, D.C. Members of the public should RSVP to the Center for Transatlantic Relations at SAIS at 202.663.5880 or [email protected].
