California Congressman Tom Lantos to Speak at JHU SAIS

Congressman Tom Lantos (D.-Calif.) will speak at the Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Monday, 09/18 at 1:30 p.m.

His lecture topic will be "A Human Rights Agenda for the Next Administration."

Lantos, who was born in Budapest, Hungary, is the only survivor of the Holocaust ever elected to Congress. He is the co-founder and co-chair of the Congressional Human Rights Caucus and a senior member of the House International Relations Committee.

The event, which is open to the public and the media, will be in the Kenney Auditorium located on the first floor of the school's Nitze Building, 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. Members of the public who want to attend should make a reservation by calling 202.663.5831.
