Cancelled: Foreign Minister for the Kingdom of the Netherlands Frans Timmermans to Speak at JHU SAIS

Frans Timmermans, foreign minister for the Kingdom of the Netherlands, will have a conversation titled, “Is Europe Really Complacent or Delusional?” at the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Thursday, July 11 at 10 a.m.
Jim Hoagland, associate editor, senior foreign correspondent, and columnist for The Washington Post, and two-time recipient of the Pulitzer Prize, will moderate the session.
The event will be held in the Kenney Auditorium located on the first floor of the school’s Nitze Building, 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.
Frans Timmermans began his career in 1987 as an official at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Hague where he participated in the induction course for diplomats. He was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Rutte-Asscher cabinet on November 5, 2012.
