Czech Republic President Václav Klaus to Speak at JHU SAIS

Václav Klaus, president of the Czech Republic, will speak at the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Wednesday, September 22 at noon.

Klaus, a major figure in Czech and European politics since the end of the Cold War, will discuss “Europe, the Systemic Consequences of the Slowly Abating Crisis and the Need to Re-Formulate the Case for Capitalism.”

SAIS also will host a live webcast of the event accessible at www.sais-jhu.edu.

The event, hosted by the SAIS Center for Transatlantic Relations (CTR), will be held in Kenney Auditorium located on the first floor of the school’s Nitze Building, 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.
