East Timor Prime Minister Gusmão to Speak at JHU SAIS

 

Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão, prime minister of the Democratic Republic of East Timor, will speak at the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Thursday, February 24 at 6 p.m.

The prime minister will discuss “Goodbye Conflict, Welcome Development: The Timor-Leste Experience.”

The event, hosted by the SAIS Southeast Asia Studies Program and Asia Society, will be held in Kenney Auditorium located on the first floor of the school’s Nitze Building, 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. Members of the public should RSVP to 202.663.5837 or[email protected].
