Former Presidential Adviser David Gergen to Speak at JHU SAIS

David Gergen, former presidential adviser, will speak at an event co-hosted by Johns Hopkins University's Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and the Washington Center for the Study of American Government on Thursday, 10/18 at 5:30 p.m.

His lecture topic will be "Presidential Leadership: Eyewitness to Power."

Gergen, a prominent adviser to five presidents, is a professor of public service at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government, editor-at-large for U.S. News & World Report, and author of the book, Eyewitness to Power: The Essence of Leadership, Nixon to Clinton.

The event, which is open to the public, will be held in the Kenney Auditorium of the Nitze Building, located at 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., in Washington, D.C. Members of the public should RSVP to 202.663.5648
