Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze to Speak at SAIS Event
Eduard Shevardnadze, president of Georgia, will speak at an event hosted by the Central Asia-Caucasus Institute of the Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Thursday, October 4 at 5:30 p.m. at the Willard Inter-Continental Hotel.
Shevardnadze's lecture topic will be "Georgia, the United States and the New Security Paradigm in Eurasia."
The America-Georgia Business Council and the Embassy of Georgia are co-hosting this event with SAIS.
The event, which is open to the public and the media, will be at the Willard Inter-Continental Hotel Ballroom at 1401 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.
