Greek Ambassador to United States to Speak at JHU SAIS

Greek Ambassador to the United States Alexander Philon will speak at the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Monday, 11/16/1998, at 6 p.m.

Ambassador Philon's lecture topic will be "Business and Diplomacy in Southeastern Europe: Business Opportunities in the Balkans."

Prior to becoming ambassador to the U.S. this year, Mr. Philon served as the secretary-general of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Athens as well as Greece's ambassador to Turkey and India.

The lecture will be held in the Rome Auditorium, located on the first floor of the Rome Building, 1619 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.
