JHU SAIS to Co-Host Forum on Foreign Intelligence Surveillance

The Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will co-host a forum, "Foreign Intelligence Surveillance: Without a Warrant-Is It Legally Justified?" on Tuesday, 01/31 at 5 p.m.

The SAIS International Law and Organization Program is hosting this event in collaboration with the American Bar Association's Standing Committee on Law and National Security.

Event participants include:

• Suzanne E. Spaulding (introduction), managing director of the Harbour Group, LLC, and former minority staff director of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence
• Eugene R. Fidell (moderator), president of the National Institute of Military Justice
• David Cole, professor of law, Georgetown University School of Law
• Robert F. Turner, professor and associate director of the University of Virginia School of Law's Center for Law and National Security
• Ruth Wedgwood, director of the SAIS International Law and Organization Program
