JHU SAIS to Hold Discussion on the Future of Europe
The Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will hold a forum, "Rethinking Europe's Future" on Monday, 11/5 at 5:30 p.m.
This is the inaugural event of the "SAIS Faculty Book Series" which will feature a discussion of Rethinking Europe's Future, a new book written by David Calleo, director of the European Studies Program at SAIS, published by Princeton University Press.
Calleo will make some introductory remarks, followed by a panel discussion about the book and European affairs featuring:
¨ Charles Kupchan, director of European Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations and associate professor at Georgetown University School of Foreign Service
¨ Michael Mandelbaum, director of the SAIS American Foreign Policy Program
¨ Warren Zimmerman, former U.S. ambassador to Yugoslavia and author of Origins of a Catastrophe: Yugoslavia and Its Destroyers
The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the Kenney Auditorium of the Nitze Building, located at 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., in Washington, D.C.
