JHU SAIS to Hold Forum on Iran After the Mullahs

The Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will hold a forum, "Iran After the Mullahs," on Thursday, 04/6 at 12:30 p.m.

Panelists include:

• Bart Fisher (moderator), professorial lecturer in the SAIS American Foreign Policy Program
• Daniel Brumberg, associate professor of government at Georgetown University and author of Reinventing Khomeini: the Struggle for Reform in Iran
• Patrick Clawson, deputy director for research at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy and co-author of Eternal Iran: Continuity and Chaos and U.S. Sanctions on Iran
• Sanam Vakil, assistant professor of Middle East studies at SAIS and author of the forthcoming book, Through the Looking Glass: An Analysis of U.S.-Iran Relations
• Ahura Pirouz Khaleghi Yazdi, founder of the Hakha Movement for Freedom and Democracy in Iran

The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the first-floor auditorium of the school's Rome Building, located at 1619 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., in Washington, D.C.
