JHU SAIS to Host Forum on Power, Politics and Literature
The Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will hold a forum, "Power, Politics and the Prism of Literature," on Monday, 11/3 at 6 p.m.
This event, sponsored by SAIS Cultural Conversations, features the following participants:
- Azar Nafisi, director of SAIS Cultural Conversations and author of Reading Lolita in Tehran: A Memoir in Books
- Marie Arana, Washington Post book editor and author of Cellophan
- Joanne Leedom-Ackerman, vice president of International PEN and author of The Dark Path to the River
The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held in Kenney Auditorium located on the first floor of the school's Nitze Building, 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., in Washington, D.C. Members of the public should RSVP to [email protected] or 202.663.5635.
