JHU SAIS to Host Forum on U.S. Energy Policy

The Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will hold a forum, "Presidential Energy Dialogue," on Tuesday, 10/7 at 5:30 p.m.

This event, sponsored by the SAIS Global Energy and Environment Initiative (GEEI) and the National Capitol Area Chapter of the U.S. Association of Energy Economics, features the following participants:

  • Kenneth Berlin, a partner who heads the environmental and climate change practices at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom LLP, will represent Senator Barack Obama's campaign.
  • R. James Woolsey, a partner at VantagePoint Venture Partners and former director of the Central Intelligence Agency, will represent Senator John McCain's campaign
  • Wilfrid Kohl, SAIS Foreign Policy Institute fellow, will moderate the session.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held in Kenney Auditorium located on the first floor of the school's Nitze Building, 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., in Washington, D.C. Members of the public should RSVP to GEEI at [email protected] or 202.663.5786.
