JHU SAIS to Host Global Finance Book Launch Featuring Martin Wolf of the Financial Times
The Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will hold a forum, "Fixing Global Finance," on Monday, October 13 at 5 p.m.
Martin Wolf, associate editor and chief economics commentator for the Financial Times, will discuss Fixing Global Finance, his new book about the causes of the current financial crisis and the dysfunctional system of global finance published by Johns Hopkins University Press.
Francis Fukuyama, director of the SAIS International Development Program, will provide introductory remarks at this event-part of the school's Bernard L. Schwartz Forum on Constructive Capitalism lecture series.
The book launch, which is free and open to the public, will be held in Kenney Auditorium located on the first floor of the school's Nitze Building, 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., in Washington, D.C. Members of the public should RSVP to 202.663.5650 or [email protected].
