Journalist and Author Fareed Zakaria to Speak at JHU SAIS

Fareed Zakaria, recently named editor of Newsweek International, will speak at the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Thursday, 11/30 at 5:30 p.m.

To address the major issues raised by globalization, SAIS created a new lecture series, "The Forum on Constructive Capitalism." Zakaria will speak about "Is Globalization Americanization?" at the forum's second event.

Most recently, Zakaria served as managing editor of Foreign Affairs. He also is the author of From Wealth to Power and editor of The American Encounter. Zakaria's current project is a book on democracy in the 21st century.

The event, which is open to the public, will be held in the Kenney Auditorium of the Nitze Building, located at 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., in Washington, D.C. Members of the public should RSVP to 202.663.5648 or [email protected].
