Myanmar President U Thein Sein to Speak at JHU SAIS

U Thein Sein, president of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, will speak at the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Monday, May 20 at 3:45 p.m.
 
President Thein Sein will speak about “Myanmar in Transition: U.S.-Myanmar Bilateral Relations.”
 
The lecture is open to the members of the SAIS students, faculty and staff and invited guests only. However, the event is open to the media for coverage. Reporters must check in no later than 3:20 p.m.
 
The event will be held in Kenney Auditorium located on the first floor of the school’s Nitze Building, 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.
