NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen to Speak at JHU SAIS
Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), will speak at the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Thursday, May 12 at 12:30 p.m.
Fogh Rasmussen will discuss “NATO: A Challenging Alliance in a Changing World.” During the month of May, Fogh Rasmussen will be visiting four U.S. cities—Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Austin and Chicago—to engage the American public about NATO’s critically important role in the transatlantic relationship.
Admittance to this event is by invitation only. However, this session is open to the media for coverage. The event will be held in Kenney Auditorium located on the first floor of the school’s Nitze Building, 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.
This event is hosted by the SAIS Center on Politics and Foreign Relations, the SAIS Center for Transatlantic Relations, the Johns Hopkins University Center for Advanced Governmental Studies and the University of Washington California Center.
