Peter Ackerman to Speak at JHU SAIS on Arab Spring and Civil Resistance
Peter Ackerman, founding chair of the International Center on Nonviolent Conflict, will speak at the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Thursday, February 28 at 5:30 p.m.
Ackerman will speak about “No One Saw It Coming: Civil Resistance, the Arab Spring and Conflicts That Shape the Future.”
The event will be held in the Kenney Auditorium of the school’s Nitze Building, 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. Members of the public should RSVP via http://peterackerman.eventbrite.com.
