CARE President Helene Gayle to Speak at JHU SAIS
Helene Gayle, president and CEO of CARE USA, will give the next speech of the W.P. Carey Global Leader Lecture Series at the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Tuesday, 04/21 at 12:30 p.m.
Gayle will speak about "Challenges of Foreign Assistance in Today's World."
CARE is one of the premier international humanitarian organizations, with programs to end poverty in more than 60 countries. Previously, Gayle spent 20 years with the Centers for Disease Control, focused on primarily on combating HIV/AIDS. She then directed the HIV, TB and Reproductive Health Program at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Gayle is also a member of The Johns Hopkins University Board of Trustees.
