Former U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan Khalilzad to Speak at JHU SAIS
Zalmay Khalilzad, former U.S. ambassador to Afghanistan, Iraq and the United Nations, will speak at the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Tuesday, 12/15 at 5 p.m.
Khalilzad, will speak about "What Is at Stake for the United States in Afghanistan?" He is currently counselor at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and president and CEO of Khalilzad Associates, LLC.
S. Frederick Starr, chairman of the SAIS Central Asia-Caucasus Institute (CACI), will moderate the session.
