Bill was attracted to Johns Hopkins SAIS because of the school’s top-notch professors, unparalleled curriculum, Washington, DC location, and robust alumni base. He firmly believes diverse backgrounds and experiences are critical to sharing knowledge and producing innovative ideas on how to solve the innumerable challenges facing the global community today. Bill has thoroughly enjoyed studying alongside other intelligent and passionate students at Johns Hopkins SAIS who constantly challenge and learn from one another.
In addition to his coursework, Bill is taking advanced Indonesian language classes at Johns Hopkins SAIS. Along with fellow student Eddy Trang, he recently competed in the West – East Debate (in Indonesian) against participants from Cornell, NIU, UCLA, and Yale at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
Bill previously worked for four years as a consultant for Deloitte in Houston, Texas and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and plans on working for the U.S. Government post-graduation.
