JHU SAIS to Host 11th Annual Washington Energy Policy Conference
The Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will hold a one-day conference, "Toward a Lower Carbon Energy Future: Technology, Economics and Policy," on Friday, 04/20 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The SAIS International Energy and Environment Program is co-sponsoring this event with the National Capital Area Chapter of the U.S. Association for Energy Economics (USAEE).
Robert H. Socolow, professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering and co-director of the Carbon Mitigation Institute at Princetonm University, will give the keynote address about *Present and Future Technologies and the Urgency of Controlling Carbon Emissions* at approximately 9:15 a.m. Expert speakers from industry, government, consulting firms and academia will speak throughout the day in the following panel sessions:
