JHU SAIS to Host Forum About North Korean Nuclear Program
The Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will host a forum, "Biography of a Bomb: Portrait of the North Korea Nuclear Program," on Tuesday, 10/24 at 10 a.m. (a reception will precede the forum at 9:30 a.m.).
The forum, hosted by the U.S.-Korea Institute at SAIS, features the following participants:

Kathryn Weathersby, historian and scholar, will discuss "Kim Il Sung's Nuclear Decisions."

David Albright, president of the Institute for Science and International Security, will present an illustrated portrait of "The Rise of the Nuclear Facilities at Yongbyeon."

Marion Creekmore, author of the recent book, A Moment in Crisis, who accompanied former President Jimmy Carter to meet Kim Il Sung, will discuss "The 1994 Nuclear Crisis."

David Straub, former State Department Korea country director and SAIS adjunct professor, will discuss "The Six Party Talks and Beyond."

Don Oberdorfer (moderator), chairman of the U.S.-Korea Institute at SAIS and author of The Two Koreas: A Contemporary History
