JHU SAIS to Host Forum on Economic Agenda for Next U.S. President

The Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will hold a forum, "Contrasting Views of an Economic Policy Agenda for the Next President," on Monday, 10/27 at 5 p.m.

This event, sponsored by the SAIS Center for International Business and Public Policy (CIBPP), features the following participants:

  • Leo Hindery, managing partner of InterMedia Partners, a New York-based private equity fund, and an economic adviser to Senator Barack Obama's campaign.
  • Fred Smith, founder and president of the Competitive Enterprise Institute, a free market public policy group
  • Roger Leeds, SAIS research professor of international finance and CIBPP director, will moderate the session.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held in Kenney Auditorium located on the first floor of the school's Nitze Building, 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., in Washington, D.C. Members of the public should RSVP to [email protected] or 202.663.7787.
