JHU SAIS to Host Forum With Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan

Kassymzhomart Tokaev, minister of foreign affairs of Kazakhstan, will speak at the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Thursday, 07/6 at 5 p.m.

Tokaev, who also served as the country's prime minister from 1999 to 2002, will address the emerging role of Kazakhstan-as well as Central Asia as a whole-in today's international arena.

Elizabeth Jones, former assistant secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs and former U.S. ambassador to Kazakhstan, will introduce the foreign minister at this forum hosted by the SAIS Central Asia-Caucasus Institute (CACI).
