JHU SAIS to Host Forum on Situation in East Timor
The Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will host a forum, "East Timor, Indonesia, and the International Response," on Wednesday, 09/22 from 1:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
The event, sponsored by the Foreign Policy Institute at SAIS, will feature the following panelists:
Paul Wolfowitz, dean of SAIS and former ambassador to Indonesia
Edward Masters, president, the United States-Indonesia Society, and former ambassador to Indonesia
Eliot Cohen, SAIS professor and director of strategic studies
The discussion will be moderated by Karl Jackson, SAIS professor and director of Asian Studies.
The forum, free and open to the public, will be held in the Kenney Auditorium located on the first floor of the school's Nitze Building, 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. Members of the public who want to attend the event should RSVP to (202) 663-5832.
