JHU SAIS to Host Forum on Upcoming Israeli Elections

The Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will host a forum, "Israel's 1999 Elections: Turning Point or Sticking Point for the Peace Process," on Thursday, 04/8/1999, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The event, sponsored by the Foreign Policy Institute at SAIS, will feature the following panelists:

• Barry Rubin, deputy director of the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies at Bar-Ilan University in Tel Aviv

• Marius Deeb, SAIS adjunct professor of Middle East studies

The forum, free and open to the public, will be held in the auditorium located on the first floor of the school's Rome Building, 1619 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.
