"America Foremost - A Democratic Vision for Defending our Country and Resuming U.S. Leadership in a Turbulent World" with Democratic presidential candidate and former U.S. Representative from Maryland John K. Delaney will be hosted at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on April 30. The event is presented by the Dean's Forum.
Delaney will discuss how globalization and automation have resulted in societal and economic changes. Additionally, Delaney will share his centrist vision for the future of the nation and views on uniting the country in light of political polarization.

John K. Delaney is a Democratic presidential candidate and a former entrepreneur and member of Congress. In Congress, John was known for his work crafting innovative bipartisan legislation to rebuild America’s infrastructure. In 2017, Delaney was named one of Fortune’s World’s Greatest Leaders for his efforts. Delaney authored legislation to create a carbon tax, establish access to pre-K nationwide, end gerrymandering, create a national artificial intelligence strategy, study social media’s impact on minors and support veterans. Delaney’s businesses were focused on providing capital to small and medium-sized companies, helping thousands of businesses grow.
