Johns Hopkins SAIS to host "Healthcare Systems in Transition – Best Practices in the United States and Japan," on Friday, May 12, 2017

The Edwin O. Reischauer Center for East Asian Studies at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will host its annual conference May 12, 2017, sponsored by the Japan Foundation Center for Global Partnership.
 
"Healthcare Systems in Transition: Best Practices in the United States and Japan" will explore the demographic and healthcare challenges that face the two nations, and determine emerging opportunities for cooperation. Experts will discuss a wide range of issues such as the best methods to manage healthcare costs, geriatric care management, public health initiatives, and cooperation in research and development.
