In anticipation of the Fall 2016 opening of the National Museum of African American History & Culture, Dr. Jacquelyn Serwer, Chief Curator at NMAAHC joined Johns Hopkins SAIS on February 24 to offer a preview of the museum’s rich historical collection and its architectural components. The discussion examined the mission of the museum to remember and reflect upon the African American experience and stimulate a dialogue on race and culture in the US.
