President Clinton to Speak at JHU SAIS

President Bill Clinton will speak at the Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Wednesday, 03/8 at 3:30 p.m.

President Clinton will deliver an address on the importance of Permanent Normal Trade Relations with China.

Attendance of the event is by invitation only. The event, which is open to the media, will be in the Kenney Auditorium located on the first floor of the school's Nitze Building, 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.

Pre-set time for cameras and still photographers will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Media will be able to re-enter the auditorium between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Satellite truck parking is available in the alley behind the Nitze Building. Enter the alley via 17th Street (near the Embassy of Peru). Members of the media should have press identification verifying their news organization affiliation.

NOTE: The lecture, "From the Bottom Up, From the Inside Out: A View of China from the Guizhou Province," originally scheduled to take place in Kenney Auditorium on Wednesday, 03/8 at 5:30 p.m. will now start at 6:30 p.m. due to the President's visit.
