As a student worker for the Office of the Dean, Andrew has received an extra measure of exposure to senior policymakers, leading academics, diplomats, and corporate executives, which Johns Hopkins SAIS students value so highly. Coordinating with speakers for the dean’s events has helped Andrew expand his professional network and views on prospective career paths.
Andrew’s most memorable event to date was the discussion featuring the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the United States, Sergei Kislyak on October 11. It was an informative experience for him, especially because he was the point of contact for coordinating and planning the event with the Russian Embassy. Seeing everything come together and the interest that the event generated among the student body, public, and media was a great source of pride for Andrew.
