The South Caucasus: Leadership Change and Foreign Influence,

The Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) will host a daylong conference, "The South Caucasus: Leadership Change and Foreign Influence," on Monday, 12/11 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The conference, sponsored by the Central Asia-Caucasus Institute (CACI) at SAIS, will examine the United States' policy toward the countries of the South Caucasus as well as the impact of the transitions and changes of leadership in that region. The main sessions will focus on the countries of Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia.

The event, open to the press, will be held in Kenney Auditorium located on the first floor of SAIS' Nitze Building, 1740 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. To register, members of the public should RSVP to 202.663.5642 or [email protected]
