Why Take This Course?

For a Master of Arts student who needs to fulfill a quantitative reasoning requirement, taking Statistics in the summer with fewer distractions and a smaller class has real benefits. This will be a fully online class with all lectures provided as recorded video that can be rewatched. Convenient transcripts provided for all videos. There will still be ample time for interaction with the instructor (John Harrington) as for each class we will have some practice problems that we will share the answers to before students carry out the grades problem sets. Students will also be able to work in small groups on their assignments, further helping the mastery of the material.
