Dr. Asha Shepard is a Senior Lecturer at Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. His primary area of research lies in exploring the relationship between education policy and behavior—particularly for juveniles and young adults. He teaches a variety of topics including courses on Principles of Economics, Statistics, Quantitative Methods, and Econometrics.
