Lieutenant Colonel Bradley Thrush is the Associate Dean of Space Force Officer Professional Military Education and an Instructor at Johns Hopkins University - School of Advanced International Studies. The USSF OPME program is part of Space Training and Readiness Command, Space Delta 13, Detachment 3. Space Delta 13’s mission is to educate and develop Guardian leaders in support of the National Defense Strategy who are prepared to dominate the space domain in today’s complex global environment.
Lieutenant Colonel Thrush is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He attended The Pennsylvania State University and commissioned as a Distinguished Graduate through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps program in May 2006. He has served in a variety of space enterprise roles within the Intelligence Community, on the Space Force Headquarters Staff and in multiple satellite operations assignments as a Satellite Vehicle Operator, Instructor, Senior Evaluator, and Mission Commander on the Milstar and Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) satellite constellations; an NRO Mission Director at ADF-Southwest; Flight Commander and Assistant Director of Operations for the Counterspace Analysis Squadron at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), an Air University Fellow, and a Squadron Commander.
Prior to his current assignment, Lieutenant Colonel Thrush was the Deputy Director of the NRO Operations Center, located at Ft. Belvoir, VA.
