Douglas London is a retired Senior CIA Operations Officer and a decorated 34-year veteran of the Agency’s Clandestine Service. Mr. London served extensively across the Middle East, South Asia, the former Soviet republics, and Africa, including three assignments as a Chief of Station and one as a CIA conflict zone Base Chief. Mr. London is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor at Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, a non-resident fellow with the Global and National Security Institute, and a national security consultant. He is the author of
The Recruiter: Spying and the Lost Art of American Intelligence, and has written for the
New York Times, the
Wall Street Journal, Foreign Affairs, Foreign Policy, Politico, Just Security, and the
Hill. Mr. London has frequently appeared on CNN as a national security contributor as well as numerous podcasts.
