Francesco Strazzari

Adjunct Professor


Francesco Strazzari is Adjunct Professor at SAIS Europe; Professor of International Relations, Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, Pisa and Scuola Normale Superiore, Firenze; and Adjunct Research Professor, Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI). Strazzari specializes in conflict studies, with a specific focus on European security, state-building, extra-legal governance and transnational organized crime. He holds a PhD from the European University Institute, Florence. He has lectured at SAIS Europe (The Johns Hopkins University), University of Amsterdam, and University of Bologna.
