Francesco Strazzari is Adjunct Professor at SAIS Europe, Professor of International Relations, Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, Pisa, and Adjunct Research Professor, Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI), Consortium for Research on Terrorism and International Crime. Strazzari specializes in conflict studies, with a specific focus on European security, state-building, extra-legal governance and transnational organized crime. He holds a PhD from the European University Institute, Florence. He has lectured at SAIS Europe (The Johns Hopkins University), University of Amsterdam, and University of Bologna.
