About

Dr Fuller received his PhD from the Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of International Studies, where he specialized in International Political Economy, Comparative Politics, and European Studies. His doctoral dissertation on the impact of financial liberalization, entitled "Destructive Creation: The Unintended Consequences of the Rise of Finance," investigates the interaction of global financial markets and idiosyncratic national characteristics, examining how different economies have allocated capital on the macro level. His most recent research, forthcoming from Politics & Society, assesses the extent to which advanced industrial economies alternatively encourage or mitigate the formation of household debt. Dr Fuller comes to academia after a previous life teaching English as a foreign language and hopes to continue developing as both a scholar and teacher.
